Madison’s favorite power metal and gaming fest returns to The Sylvee on June 6-7, 2025!
Get ready for two days of epic riffs, legendary games, and unforgettable camaraderie as Mad With Power returns for its 8th year! On June 6-7, 2025, the festival will once again transform The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin, into a paradise for power metal enthusiasts, gamers, and fans of all things heavy and nerdy.
This year, we’re proud to announce Firewind and Dream Evil as our headliners, delivering fiery solos and electrifying energy straight from the heart of Europe. Joining them will be TEN additional incredible bands, including Nanowar of Steel, Eleine, and Aether Realm, offering a stacked lineup that will have everyone ready to rock.
But Mad With Power isn’t just about the music. Attendees can enjoy free-to-play arcade and pinball games, a Magic the Gathering tournament, and a variety of local food trucks and vendors – all wrapped up in the festival’s signature community-focused atmosphere.
MWP is hosted by Madison’s own Ty Christian (aka Fang VonWrathenstein, frontman of Lords of the Trident) and aims to unite fans of power metal, gaming, and nerd culture in a celebration like no other.
