Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy multiple tickets at a time?

Yes! Either via ticketmaster or our Ticketing software, you can purchase multiple tickets. The only time where it might get confusing is if you're buying multiple Silver VIP tickets. For example, if you're buying THREE Silver VIPs, you first need to buy three GA tickets via ticketmaster, then 3 Silver VIP add-ons.

Can I mix & match tickets with the rest of my group?

Yes! Just remember that if everyone in your group wants to sit together (i.e. in the 2nd floor balcony), you'll all need Gold VIP or above. The seats are reserved for Gold VIP only.

Are the Gold VIP tickets assigned to a SPECIFIC seat?

No. The Gold VIP balcony seats are open to any person who has a Gold/Sponsor VIP ticket. The idea is that you can come and go as you please. Perhaps you'd rather be down in the pit for a certain band? That's fine. Please don't attempt to save your seat for more than a short bathroom break, though. Be courteous.

Is there an ADA section?

Yes! On the left side of the stage there is a large ADA section, and 12 ADA areas for wheelchairs on the 2nd floor. People in wheelchairs do not need a Gold VIP ticket to access the 2nd floor seats. And yes - LOTS of elevators.

Will you allow re-entry?

Yes! However, if you come back for re-entry, you will go through the metal detectors and be searched again. Please be mindful of the Sylvee's bag policy: "Small personal clutches / purses / fanny packs (max size 6.5″ x 4.5″ x 1″) or clear plastic bags (max size 12″ x 6″ x 12″) are the only carry-in bags that are allowed.  We encourage you to pack light with only the necessities to make the entry process as smooth as possible. Exceptions will be made for necessary medical equipment and bags for nursing mothers." More info: https://www.thesylvee.com/info/faq/

Is there an age restriction?

Nope - Mad With Power Fest is ALL AGES!

Can I bring my big ol' photography camera to take S I C K shots?

Yes, but if you want to get in the photo pit at the front, we'll need to verify things ahead of time. Please fill out the media application form on the contact/booking page to receive a photo pass. You will still need to purchase a ticket!

Will you have food available?

Yes! We're working with local food carts to have different types of food available, for a quick bite. Remember, we'll also have our dinner/gaming break each day of the fest if you want to head over to a nearby restaurant!

As much as I'd love to be there, I cannot! Will you be streaming again?

YES! We'll be live on Twitch during the whole fest - https://www.Twitch.tv/LordsOfTheTrident. Please subscribe and donate if you can - we split ALL TIPS amongst ALL of the bands!

Will the bands be walking around? Can I meet them?

That's up to the discretion of each band. Typically, the answer is yes - many bands choose to mingle and watch the show. But there may be good reason why a band (or band member) may not want to do so. If you really want to meet the band, we'd recommend investing in a Gold, Platinum, or Sponsorship VIP ticket so you have access to the early VIP meet & greet.

I'd love to volunteer for the fest!

And we'd love to have you! Please fill out the volunteer form on our Contact/Booking page, and we'll contact you about opportunities to help!

What is the Sylvee's policy on ________?

You can check the Sylvee's frequently asked questions here: https://www.thesylvee.com/info/faq/

I bought a ticket, but can't come! Are tickets refundable?

Ticketmaster typically allows person-to-person reselling of tickets. Check their website for details. Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Sponsorship VIP packages are transferrable but NOT REFUNDABLE. If you want to transfer a package, please email [email protected] at least two weeks before the date of the show. Any closer, and we may not be able to transfer your package.

How can MY band get to play Mad With Power Fest?

First - read the section at the bottom of the "contact/booking" page. Then, fill out the booking form on the website. You only need to fill this out once. If we think you're a good fit, we'll contact you.

Should we wear a mask?

You are more than welcome to wear a mask if you'd like. It's encouraged, but not required. We are HIGHLY encouraging everyone who comes to be vaccinated.
