The costs involved are typically $7,000 &#8211; $8,000 <strong>per band<\/strong>, and this is before we buy their plane tickets, food, hotels, and&#8230;you know, <strong>pay<\/strong> them for their performance. <\/p><p>Mad With Power fest has <strong>always<\/strong> been about keeping things affordable for our fest-goers. Our tickets are three times less expensive than our closest competitors, but even so, these sorts of visa expenses have been destroying our ability to even consider bringing over additional non-US bands in the future.<\/p><p>A number of fans have been asking if they can contribute somehow, as some people are unable to make the fest, and don&#8217;t feel comfortable just buying an extra ticket they&#8217;re not going to use.
